LJ can screw. I've decided that tonight will be made of win, for the following reasons:

01. I just decorated my parents' Christmas tree. With hand-sewn angels and fragile glass balls that date back to my childhood, and I'm so sniffly and overwhelmed with warm nostalgia that I'm about ready to believe in Santa Claus again.

02. The Lakers are playing. They are losing presently, but I'm not going to dwell on that bit.

I am generally wary of bestiality fic, but Firenze is only half-horse, right, so what the hell.

I have always said that canon!fodder characters are a tough road to walk, and she pulled it off wonderfully with Firenze.

Halloween is nigh, and I am pleased to announce my Costume is Ready.

1. One white, collared shirt (freshly laundered), left over from when the Denny's uniform was white, oxford button-ups.
   
2. One pair of black slacks, also worn during my Denny's stint, before I discovered I made more money in a skirt.
   
3. One pair of cheap, owlish, black-rimmed glasses purchased at the the party shop for $2.⁰⁰.
   
4. One burgundy and gold striped tie, complete with Gryffindor crest, purchased *today* at the coporate scene!whore that is Hot Topic.
